Joseph Nechvatal

Joseph Nechvatal is a creator of light, media and projection art. The atlas lists 1 work in 1990, shown at Ars Electronica Festival. Honours include Honorary Mention at the Prix Ars Electronica 1990 for “Compassion Rules”.

Biography

Joseph Nechvatal was born in Chicago in 1951. In 1974 he received his B.F.A. at the Southern Illinois University. Until 1978 he attended the Cornell and the Columbia University.
