590 C30

by Mark Wilson

🏆 Honorary Mention · Prix Ars Electronica 1988

Mark Wilson's “590 C30” was honoured with a Honorary Mention at the Prix Ars Electronica 1988, category Computer Graphics. Mark Wilson has 1 more work in this atlas.

The drawings and paintings I create with the computer all employ an old, but still powerful computer graphic device - the pen plotter. An open flat-bed plotter is used to draw directly on canvas with acrylic paint, thus affording larger scale works than are possible with paper and pen plotters.
