“A downpour of words, a dance of flowers - summer” is a digital installation by the art collective teamLab, first presented in 2014. Sound: Hideaki Takahashi. teamLab has 652 more works in this atlas.
In this work, calligraphic renditions of words chosen by Shishuu are set free from the page and, projected on a dome, rain down lazily from above. Beside the calligraphy, flowers sprout in midair; they mature as they flutter downward, budding and blossoming.
