Joan Giner created “Chromatic Rain”, a light artwork shown at Amsterdam Light Festival 2023 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Just like in a Japanese zen garden, where rocks and pebbles mimic islands and the rolling ocean, this landscape is an artificial one. However, the effect it has is real, tangible. The calmness and beauty makes you relax and ponder.

Joan Giner’s work is built from blocks and light projection, but conveys imagery of nature. A gentle rain shower in a forest perhaps, or water slowly dripping down in an ancient cave.
