“Codecs for TouchDesigner, Explained” is a project built with TouchDesigner, featured in the Derivative community showcase in 2023.
Working with video files is a very common (and sometimes frustrating) part of building projects in TouchDesigner. Although there are many settings available to tweak for the playback or rendering of a video within TouchDesigner, one of the most important considerations is the video codec that is used for the file.
