Dead Air (Mind over Matter)

by Alexei Tylevich

🏆 Honorary Mention · Prix Ars Electronica 1995

Alexei Tylevich's “Dead Air (Mind over Matter)” was honoured with a Honorary Mention at the Prix Ars Electronica 1995, category Computer Animation.

One of the forces fueling my interest in exploring the synthetic environment of a computer animation system is the potentially explosive character of the resulting image. This points to the much discussed questions of the reliability of "realistic" representation.
