Der Wald ('The Forest') is a monochrome animation of a forest which extends to infinity along the x, y, and z axes. Movement within the forest can take place forwards, backwards, leftwards and rightwards without ever reaching an end. There is no origin and no destination. There is no sky, no ground, no horizon.
