“Doktron” is a light installation by Fisheye presented at Light Festival Ghent 2024 in Ghent, Belgium. Fisheye has 3 more works in this atlas.
The dock-side cranes are now redundant, but once they used to form the beating heart of Ghent’s port. They symbolise the connection between Ghent and the world. The epicentre of the port has since shifted north. Fisheye brings these cranes back to life and restores them to their former glory.
