Vivid Sydney 2023 featured “Dune”, a light installation by Carlos Torrijos and Juan Fuentes in Sydney. It was installed at Barangaroo Headland Australia.
Sand dunes prove that you can move some mountains, as forces of wind constantly change their shape - maybe even completely eradicating what was once an insurmountable height. Representing the sand dune by an illuminated top ridge, Dune is sculpted by unseen and unfelt winds.
