John Adamczyk's “Fireman” was honoured with a Honorary Mention at the Prix Ars Electronica 1991, category Computer Graphics.
Although I had a background in drawing and painting, I first approached computer graphics as a programmer. I like to work on the computer, because I feel in tune with its principles of operation.
About John Adamczyk
John Adamczyk grew up in the Chicago area and went lo Los Angeles in 1983 to study at the University of Southern California. He studied experimental animation and film at CalArts, graduating to a B.F.A. in 1988.
