“Geo-Genetic” by Christiane Geoffroy received a Honorary Mention in the Computer Animation category of the Prix Ars Electronica 1990.
My work is based on one question only: “What is it that remains unchanged in man over the centuries?” All my reasoning is aware of the dawning of the IIIrd Millennium. The work “Geo-Genetic” befits my quest. The images talk of reproduction and its manipulation.
About Christiane Geoffroy
Christiane Geoffroy was born in December 1955. Besides various group exhibitions she had personal shows in 1984 at B.B.V. Baur, Lyon, and 1986 at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Grenoble.
