“Grist” by Aaron Thall received an Award of Distinction in the Digital Musics & Sound Art category of the Prix Ars Electronica 2007.
Organic emotions enhanced by electronics – not the other way around. I want my music overflowing with 500 years of pain, lust, inspiration, and energy. How do we express the human condition through these new interfaces? I made this Drumcorps album with that in mind.
About Aaron Thall
Aaron Thall (US) started out playing drums in central Massachusetts hardcore bands at age 16. At 19 he moved to New York City and began DJing and producing jungle, drum & bass, and ambient music.
