In 1991, the Prix Ars Electronica jury recognised “Hulk with Shadow” by Dick Ibach (Computer Graphics) with a Honorary Mention.
“Because of the computer, I enjoy the immediacy of so much color so easily achieved. My approach tends to be more expressive, and because of this, I mostly avoid the easy subtlety and gradual fills of computer generated imagery. I work toward a layered mixing of color.
