“Light Being” is a light artwork by Erik Groen presented at GLOW Eindhoven 2010 in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
“Light Being” consists of moving sculptures almost entirely composed of laser beams. In the misty environment, the immaterial light seems to take tangible forms. The light beams are programmed to mimic the movement of animals.

Erik Groen creates interactive and educational installations, often using light sources. Much of his work is politically inclined, playfully drawing attention to themes such as sustainability and reuse.
