In 2015, the Prix Ars Electronica jury recognised “Loopex - Konstruktion eines Filament Extruders” by Alexander Brenner, Nicolas Groß and Matthias Thym (U19 – Create Your World) with a Honorary Mention.
Durch die Weiterentwicklung der Technologie gab es in den letzten Jahren einen Boom in der Branche des 3D-Drucks, und so kommt es, dass nun einige 3D-Drucker auch für Heimanwender zu annehmbaren Preisen erhältlich sind.
