Toshifumi Kawahara, Jun Asakawa and Polygon Pictures's “Polygon Family” was honoured with a Honorary Mention at the Prix Ars Electronica 1999, category Computer Animation.
Polygon Family is a family of four, performing an ordinary daily life with an expression of delicate habit and gesture. Polygon Pictures was one of the first companies to apply realistic television aspects to its work, producing five short CG animation pieces expressly for TV, built upon different themes.
