In 2000, the Prix Ars Electronica jury recognised “Sentinelles” by Guy Lampron (Computer Animation) with a Honorary Mention.
It is dawn in a dreamlike, surrealistic city evoking New York. Its design is inspired by the twenties' Art Deco style. The city is constantly smothered under a heavily clouded sky. An appearance of the sun is a very rare occurence in this world.
About Guy Lampron
Guy Lampron (CA) holds a BA in Film Studies from Concordia University in Montreal. He worked as a 3D animator at Groupe Images Buzz developing special effects for feature films and advertisements.
