Kei Oyama's “Shinsatsu-Shitsu (Consultation Room)” was honoured with a Honorary Mention at the Prix Ars Electronica 2006, category Computer Animation.
It is often when we are injured or ill, that we become aware of our own body's physical existence in a new way. Swollen lumps, dull pain, infection, fever or bleeding shake us into awareness. Particularly intense are childhood memories concerning the body.
