“Speederman” is a digital art by David Černý presented at Signal Festival 2014 in Prague, Czech Republic.
Four-meter high Speederman sculpture depicts a naked figure of a superhero, visibly frozen in inhumanly fast motion. It may thus represent a metaphor for human evolution and aesthetic ideals of the human body, but also a commentary to the accelerated rythm of life in the current new technologies era.
