A rock is split by a maple tree that grows as if embracing it. The calligraphy becomes one with the darkness in the crevice of the rock and draws an Enso. Enso is the Zen practice of drawing a circle with a single brush stroke. This artwork depicts an enso drawn as Spatial Calligraphy.
