Stanislaw Sasak's “Time” was honoured with a Honorary Mention at the Prix Ars Electronica 1990, category Computer Graphics.
All kinds of biological, mechanical and technical structures exist in my work as a way to show time, which has an almost concrete, touchable and “material” character. Working with the computer, especially digital processing, lets me manipulate the time of this same digital process.
About Stanislaw Sasak
Stanislaw Sasak was born on 11 July 1958 in Lublin. He graduated from State Fine Arts School in Wroclaw at the Department of Architecture of Interiors in 1983 and in 1986 at the Graphic Design Department.
