TV - IV

by Scott Arford

🏆 Honorary Mention · Prix Ars Electronica 2005

Scott Arford's “TV - IV” was honoured with a Honorary Mention at the Prix Ars Electronica 2005, category Digital Musics & Sound Art.

TV-IV is a live performance for two video monitors. The monitors are modulated by the sound of their own picture tubes. A microphone is attached to each of the tubes, and this sound is processed through Max/MSP. This (audio) signal is sent to the PA as well as to the video inputs of the monitors.
