Warriors uses three excerpts from Walter Hill's 1979 cult movie The Warriors, a film which features over one hundred rival gangs, each with distinct demographic, stylistic, and sexual preferences, which they communicate through linguistic, sartorial, behavioral, and visual signifiers.
