Amsterdam Light Festival 2014 featured “Circle of Life”, a light artwork by Rob van Houten in Amsterdam.
'Circle of Life' is a Möbius ring, the symbol for infinity. 'Circle of Life' is about the same principle: the endless flow of water and people to the city. The ring starts milky white, like an empty city that has to be filled with life.
About Rob van Houten
Rob van Houten designed ‘Circle of Life’ especially for the Melkmeisjes Bridge. The bridge always makes the artist feel as if he is floating a bit above the city.
