Victor Engbers and Ina Smits created “Strangers in the Light”, a light artwork shown at Amsterdam Light Festival 2015 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
This work consists of two huge sculptures that we immediately recognize as the figures from a pedestrian traffic light. When one appears, the other disappears; they constantly slip away from each other. Now they’ve escaped and are about to meet.
